Pakistani celebrities were spotted at Hum Network’s grand 20-year celebration this Saturday night. The show was full of music, dancing and celebration as one of the country’s biggest networks completed two decades in business. The stars were seen shining on the red carpet and we got to see a lot of good oriental looks. However, some staggered and could not be impressed by their clothing.
Although we’ve seen 20 years of celebrations largely better than any awards show, some still missed the mark and could have been much better. Here is a list:
Nadia Hussain
Nadia Hussain Khan is a supermodel, actress and entrepreneur. She’s done it all and she obviously comes from the fashion world and knows what’s trending but she always represents her brand Bling by Nadia through her looks. She once again went for a lot of bowling and looks inspired by Paris Hilton in the early 2000s. Not a good look and she managed to earn a place among the worst dressed celebrities of the evening.
Arwa Hussain
Urwa Hussain is thankfully out of her all-white phase, but she may have gotten a bit more into color. Her dress from the evening was very much a wedding dress and the work looked too much against her complexion. The heavy work on the shirt and spaghetti strap didn’t look appreciated either. Urwa Hussain is one of the most beautiful personalities of Pakistan and she can do much better.
Amina Elias
Amina Ilyas also ranks among the worst dressed celebrities of the night. She usually experiments and since she is a supermodel, she keeps everything well but not this time. Her saree was the wrong color and completely washed out. A bejeweled saree would enhance her look and not be empty like her makeup.
Anusha Abbasi
Anusha Abbasi is a beautiful girl but this time she too finds a place in the list of worst dressed celebrities. She unfortunately reminded everyone of Paddle Pop with her skirt. The color, the silhouette was all wrong and even her dress looked like it wasn’t ironed properly.
Areez Ahmed
Areez Ahmed is also among the celebrities who attended the event. He’s a new father and late night feedings are no joke, but why Aries chose this suit will remain a mystery. She is a beautiful star but this dress did nothing for her looks. His wife was sunshine with him but he could do so much better.
Ahad Raza Mir
Ahad Raza Mir is one of the most important personalities of Hum TV roster. He appeared at the event with his parents. His suit looked light and it looked like he just got up and grabbed whatever was hanging in his closet to attend the celebration because he couldn’t let it go no matter how hard he tried. A poor effort on his part.
Nada Yasir
Nida Yasir is also among the celebrities who attended our 20th anniversary celebrations and she is unfortunately included in the list. Her hair and makeup was great but her outfit was too much at the same time. The work, the color and the combination, nothing was working in this dress.
Zeb Bangash
Zeb Bangash is a big name in the music industry of Pakistan. She always dresses beautifully and makes safe choices. She wore a gold dress, another traditional one but it didn’t look good. The sleeve length, shirt bodice and color were all wrong. She can do so much better.
Aisha Omar
Ayesha Omar has surprisingly joined the list of worst dressed celebrities this time. She is considered one of the best dressed in the entire country but this time she shocked her fans with her choice of outfit. She had a more airport look and didn’t look like she was dressed for such a formal event.
Khaqan Shahnawaz
Khaqan Shahnawaz also owns a clothing brand and is a new generation star. He mostly at least tries, but this time his lack of effort earned him a spot on this list. At least the shirt could look properly ironed.
