Rawalpindi: At least four terrorists belonging to the banned Fitna Khawarij were killed and three others were injured in an intelligence-based operation in Bagh General area of Khyber district, the media wing of the army said on Thursday.

In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations said the operation was carried out on Wednesday following reports of the presence of terrorists.

Among those killed was the “outer ring leader Bator”.

“A sweep operation is underway to eliminate any foreigners found in the area, as Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the country,” ISPR said.

Last week, on November 21-22, three terrorists were killed in two separate clashes with security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cities.
