Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, has revealed the date for the inauguration of the renewed cricket stadium in Karachi.
Shareing the update on X (formerly Twitter), Naqvi encouraged cricket enthusiasts to prepare for the event, promising an unforgettable evening.
He said, “The grand opening of Karachi Stadium has been set on February 11, in which electric acting was displayed by Ali Zafar, Shafqat Amanat Ali, and Sahar Ali Begga.”
He added that President Asif Ali Zardari will formally inaugurate the newly constructed building of Karachi Stadium.
Meanwhile, on Friday, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif formally opened the renovated Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the move came when Pakistan was preparing to host the Champions Trophy almost three decades later. –
The program saw the participation of federal ministers and assembly members, which identified the government’s commitment to modernize sports facilities.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also attended the provincial leadership’s dedication to the provincial leadership project.
