Authorities have issued a comprehensive Lahore traffic plan ahead of the International Cricket Council’s Champions Trophy 2025’s high intensity.
A very waiting match between Australia and South Africa will be played today at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
This will be the first match of the Champions Trophy tournament at Gaddafi Stadium after matches in Karachi and Dubai.
About 12,000 policemen will be placed on duty to ensure the safety of players and people.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore said that 1000 traffic police will be deployed on duty during the match.
About 24 24 fork lifts and 4 malfunction vehicles will be ready to deal with any non -compliance
Traffic plan for spectators:
Traffic police have come up with a large parking project for fans.
The spectators coming from the Defense Side will park in the Central Business District (CBD) after turning left from the Friedos Market Signal.
The officer has parked in a park near Government College Gulberg for fans coming from Ferozepur Road.
However, for those who come from Kent and Defense, Hussein Chowk or Sherpao will have to park in Liberty Park after taking routes.
Authorities have assured that the roads will not be closed permanently.
According to him, important routes like Mall Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, Ferozepur Road and Main Bouquit Gulberg will be open.
The CTO advised the fans to park in the areas mentioned only in order to avoid discomfort.
In addition, traffic freshwinds will be available directly on the Rusta app and the Route FM 88.
Authorities have confirmed that all precautions are being taken to ensure a smooth event for the fans who attend the high intensity between Australia and England.
