Peshawar: On Saturday, representatives of Shiite and Sunni tribes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) resistance district assured their support for the government’s efforts to restore peace in the region.

In a statement issued by the Department of Information, a separate meeting of a delegation of Shia and Sunni tribes from KP government spokesman Mohammad Ali Saif in his office in Peshawar.

According to the Department of Information, the representatives made detailed ideas with Saif, which is also part of the provincial institutions along with the resolution of the issue, on the law and order situation in the law.

48 miscreants arrested in Karam: IGP told

On the other hand, during an operation launched to ensure sustainable peace in the region, 48 miscreants were arrested in the tribal district.

This was stated during a meeting of Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahb Ali Shah and Police Inspector General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed where he chaired a high -level meeting to assess the overall security situation in Kurram.

The meeting estimated the latest progress of law and order, recent events and measures to deal with them, said a government Communican issued here at the meeting. During the meeting, it was decided that operations against terrorist elements involved in the recent incidents would be further intensified.

Along with the protection of the lives and property of the citizens, their efforts to improve their standard of living will be a top priority, and peace will be restored in every case. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police and other law enforcement agencies are following a comprehensive strategy to effectively eliminate miscreants. In addition, the crackdown on such elements is being tightened about supporters and facilitators.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government reiterated that there is no room for miscreants or their facilitators, and that all those involved will be held accountable under the law.
