Islamabad: The new Gwadar International Airport (NGIA) has extended its flight work, and added two more flights every week as demand is increasing.

Earlier, Gwadar had only three flights every week, but since the NGIA launched trade operations on January 20, 2025, the number has increased to five.

The current schedule includes flights between Karachi and Gwadar on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, as well as flights connecting Gwadar and Muscat on Monday and Friday.

Officials are expected to extend further because private airlines, including Fly Jinnah, Air Fluid, Air Blue, and Peace Air, submitted applications to run flights to go to Gwadar.

An air fluid representative highlights that NGIA concessions, such as landing, parking, and accommodation, make it an attractive destination for airlines. Airport Airport H, which covers 4,300 acres, is the second largest in Pakistan and it is adjusted to ATR 72, Boeing B 737, Airbus A380, and Boeing B 747 aircraft for domestic and international operations Can

The NGIA on January 20 launched official trade operations with the successful landing of PIA flight PK -503 from Karachi. Extension of flight works is an important step to establish Gwadar as an important regional trade and communication center.
