KARACHI – The transfer rate of the United Arab Emirates Dahm has witnessed three money against the Pakistani rupee in the open market of Pakistan as it was Rs 76.25 on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
According to the Pakistan Forex Association (FAP), the sales rate for the UAE currency AED in Pakistan has also been strengthened as it is available in the local currency market for Rs 76.85.
Durham is the official currency of the United Arab Emirates. Overseas Pakistanis usually need to convert the currency of their host country into Pakistani currency and this process is called currency exchange.
AED to PKR rate today
In the open market, the United Arab Emirates Durham rate is Rs 76.25. Therefore, 1,000 dirhams will be equal to Rs 76,250 in Pakistani currency.
More than two million Pakistani immigrants are living in the Gulf country where they are engaged in various jobs and businesses in the country.
According to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Pakistan received $ 3.1 billion in February 2025 after the remittances of Pakistani workers overseas, which increased by 3.8 percent over the previous month of January 2025.
Remittances increased by 38.6 % on an annual basis, compared to 25 2.25 billion in the same month last year.
The arrival of remittances from the United Arab Emirates increased by 4.94 percent on a monthly basis as Pakistan received $ 652.2 million in February, while in January there was $ 621.5 million.
On an annual basis, remittances increased by 69.49 %, compared to 4 384.8 million recorded in the same month last year.
