Bollywood blockbuster Touch Shah Rukh has left behind Puppy In the Domestic Box Office collection, Indian media reports say.
The Indian Express reports that Wiki Kaushal’s film, directed by Lakshman Otikar, is the most earning Hindi film at that time.
According to the industry tracker Saconelk, Chhwa made about Rs 4 crore on his fifth Thursday in cinemas. However, on Friday, attendance saw a decrease, in which the film earned Rs 7.25 crore across the country.
Chhawa, who acted for Wiki Kaushal and Rashimika Mandana, made more money in Telugu. The film has now surpassed Pathan, in which Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone were screened and when it was released in 2023, it made Rs 543 crore, of which there was a pure domestic collection of Rs 546 crore.
On Thursday, despite a decline in revenue 6.25 %, the raid was able to bounce back and report better results.
The Telugu version of Chhwa increased Rs 75 lakh on Friday, while the Hindi version donated Rs 6.5 crore.
It is expected that despite a slight decline in recent revenue, the sixth will cross the milestone of Rs 550 crore by the end of the week. With Rs 553.87 crore, it currently trails from Ranbir Kapoor’s animals, which is in the ninth place. However, Indian media has predicted that the tune will soon overtake the animals in terms of domestic sales. It is expected that the film will cross the mark of Rs 750 crore at the World Box Office this week.
