A Karachi court on Wednesday added journalist Farhan Malik to the custody of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), which received remand for another five days in connection with a new registered fraud case.
According to the first Information Report (FIR), the FIA raided a call center in Gulshan-e-Qabal on March 25, in which two suspects, Uttar Hussain and Hassan Najib were arrested. The FIR alleges that the call center was involved in fake activities, including transfer of secret data to foreign entities through software.
