Karachi: The German Consulate General in Karachi has implemented a significant change in its visa appointment system, which is immediately effective. Due to the tremendous demand, the applicants will no longer be able to book direct appointments. Instead, they will have to register in the waiting list first, in which appointments are allocated on the basis of availability and registration order.
This change affects the booking process, especially for Scanine and Long -term visas, in which opportunities card/chinsein cartilage has been released. Applicants for opportunities can still book direct appointments through the consulate system.
The Consulate states that the applicants will have to register in the waiting list first, after which the appointments will be historically assigned to the appointments based on the date of registration and the capacity available. The purpose of this adjustment is to better manage the high demand and to smooth the appointment process.
Applicants need to provide additional information during registration to ensure that fair appointment is to be ensured and the purpose of travel is clarified. The Consulate emphasized that the registration is free, and the applicant should refrain from using agents to complete the process.
For Schengen Visa (short -term lasts 90 days), applicants can choose from categories such as business, tourism, visit, trade fair exhibitors and more. In addition, for long -term visas (more than 90 days), applicants can register for categories such as master studies, scholarships, research, PhD, Bachelor’s Studies, and language courses.
The new consulate system reflects the commitment to maintain transparency and improve the visa application process for Pakistani citizens.
