Laila Wasti’s Interesting Statement About On-Screen Husbands

Leila Wasti is a beautiful and talented artist. She has been through a lot in her life but her commitment to her work has never waned. We have seen her in several good dramas like Hum Kaan Sachaye Ahe and Khaye and every time she manages to grab people’s attention with her good acting and presence.

Leila Wasti has played the role of a mother in many dramas so far. She even played the role of Mahira Khan’s mother in Hum Kaan Ke Sache Haye. We have seen many young women cast in some senior roles where they sensibly don’t fit. His last pairing was with Faisal Qureshi and it was an age-appropriate pairing that was also loved by the crowd.

In an interview to Wasee Chaudhry, Laila Wasti said that she had no objection to being cast as the mother of many older actors. She’s fine with it as long as her character is sweet but casting opposite actors who are much older than her as husband and wife doesn’t appeal to her. She actually prefers roles where she is playing a widow in such cases.
