KARACHI: Prize bonds have been used in Pakistan for decades as an investment option that provides peace of mind and is a good way for millions of people to save their money.

Under the auspices of the State Bank of Pakistan, it was introduced in the 1960s, and is organized by the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS). Prize bonds can be purchased in multiple denominations ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 40,000, offering flexibility in terms of cash withdrawals.
