ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar met his Belarusian counterpart Maxim Ryzenkov, where both sides emphasized the importance of bilateral relations and reiterated their commitment to promote mutually beneficial cooperation on Monday. .
In the meeting, the two foreign ministers discussed bilateral and regional affairs and the agenda and program of President Lukashenko’s visit to Pakistan, who will arrive here later in the day.
The parties expressed satisfaction at the pace of bilateral exchanges and high-level visits between Pakistan and Belarus and hoped that President Lukashenko’s visit would further promote bilateral relations.
The ministers also discussed important regional and global developments, including the situation in the Middle East. They expressed their support for a peaceful resolution of the conflict and stressed the need for a coordinated approach to dealing with the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
