ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protests and subsequent road closures have resulted in a rise in the prices of common items and vegetables, causing severe distress to the common man.
Due to the blockade, fruits and vegetables cannot reach the market, which can be exploited by profiteers.
In Sialkot, the price of tomato has reached Rs 700 per kg while green chilli, cabbage, potato and onion are selling at Rs 400, 300 and 250 per kg respectively.
