Pakistani dramas of 2024 won the hearts of the world. We had some mega hits in the past year and many new fans started watching our shows. The year 2025 is here and so is the new season of dramas. Fans are already excited for many new projects that have already been announced and there are some great and exciting projects in store for fans.
A new wave of Pakistani dramas is set to hit the television screens soon and several mega projects have already been announced. Here is the list of upcoming Pakistani dramas for the year 2025 and it looks promising:
Hamraz
Humraaz is among the most anticipated Pakistani dramas of the upcoming year. The dynamic duo of Ayeza Khan and Feroze Khan are coming together for the first time in lead roles. Other important roles are played by stars like Amna Ilyas and Zahid Ahmed. It is written by Misbah Nausheen and directed by Ishq Murshid director Farooq Rand. Humraz will be telecast on Jio TV. Humraaz is a crime thriller drama and will release soon.
Shire
Shire is another highly anticipated show. This will bring Sara Khan back to a big commercial Pakistani drama and she is pairing up with Danish Taimur for the first time. The couple is already in love and fans want to see the magic. Shire is written by Zanzibel Asim Shah and directed by Ehsan Talish. It will soon air on ARY Digital.
Midwife (Temporary)
Mehwish Hayat is returning to Pakistani dramas after 6 years. The actress was only doing films for some time and now she will be working with Ahsan Khan and Hara Mani in an upcoming show on Geo TV. The drama is directed by Sirajul Haq, the director of Tere Bin, while other details are yet to be revealed. The drama is tentatively titled Daiyaan and may be renamed before release.
Case No. 9
Case No. 9 brings Geo News anchor Shahzeb Khanzada to Pakistani dramas. He has written the story of the play with a large cast including Saba Qamar, Junaid Khan, Faisal Qureshi, Amna Shaikh and Gauhar Rasheed. The show is being directed by Khai director Syed Wajahat Hussain and many fans are already waiting for it.
A street with a heart
Dil Wali Gully is the first project in the upcoming Ramadan Special Pakistani dramas. Sajal Ali and Hamza Sohail of Zard Patan Ka Bin are coming back. The highlight of the show is the duo of Kashif Nisar and Zafar Mearaj, Kabuli Pulao and Man Jogi, who are making a comeback with the show. Fans are waiting and expecting magic again.
Sanwal Yar Piya (Provisional)
Feroze Khan, Ahmed Ali Akbar and Durfashan Saleem will work together in a mega project that will air on Geo TV in 2025. The play is written by none other than Hashim Nadeem but according to Feroze it will be something other than Sanul Yar Piya. . The cast has already excited the fans and they are looking forward to it. Danish Nawaz is the director of this play.
Mikal Zulfiqar and Imran Ashraf’s upcoming drama
Mikal Zulfikar and Imran Ashraf will be seen together in a drama on Hum TV. McCall stated in an interview that both his characters are beautifully written and well developed with proper arcs. The female lead is yet to be finalized but the drama will air on Hum TV in 2025. It is written by Abdul Khaliq Khan, the author of Ishq Murshid.
I am not Minto
Main Minto Nahi Hoon is another mega Pakistani drama that will air on ARY Digital. The drama has a large cast of Humayun Saeed, Sajal Ali, Saima Noor, Sanam Saeed and Azaan Sami Khan. The show has been in development for a few years now, but it’s finally coming out. The play is written by Khalilur Rahman Qamar while Nadeem Baig will direct.
The knock
Dastak is another drama which is currently being shot. It will feature a new pair of Ali Raza and Sohay Ali Abru. The drama will air on ARY Digital and is directed by Marina Khan.
Na chura sakuge daman
Nah Chura Sakuge Daman is an upcoming Pakistani drama starring Farhan Saeed and Kanza Hashmi as the new pair. It will bring romance back on screen and it will air on Hum TV. The drama is written by Ali Moin and directed by Asad Malik.
Rakshi Sweets
Rakshi Sweets is another drama with a fresh pairing. The drama will be aired temporarily on Green TV. Sahar Khan and Khushal Khan are coming together as the lead cast. The show is being directed by Shahid Shafaat and the fans are also waiting for this young cast and believe that it will be a light hearted watch.
Shandur
Shandoor is a web series directed by Asim Raza. The show will go live on Indian web platform Sony Liv and is rumored to have a great and romantic plot. Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed are leading the web series Shandoor.

Love is the first of the Pakistani dramas to reach Netflix including Jo Bachay Hain Sang. It is the first Pakistani Netflix series and has a huge cast. It will also be released in 2025.
