Pakistani TikToker and actress Jannat Mirza has landed in trouble after her controversial comments about Japanese culture during a recent podcast.

In a podcast hosted by Hina Altaf, Jannat shared her thoughts on the lifestyle in Japan. When the Japanese were asked about cleanliness, he criticized their strict rules on waste disposal.

He explained that Japan lacks public trash cans, as people are expected to take their trash home.

Once home, the trash must be carefully sorted—labels, bottles, and caps are all disposed of in separate bins.

Jannat remarked that every household in Japan has at least three garbage cans to follow these rules. He considered the practice excessive, describing it as “psychological” and asking, “Who likes every piece of garbage like that after eating?”

His comments quickly went viral on social media, drawing widespread criticism. Many users defended Japan’s waste management system, calling it a symbol of discipline and love of country.

Critics argue that Japan’s cautious approach to sanitation is not a problem but a solution, reflecting its commitment to the environment and national pride.

Social media users also highlighted how such practices contribute to Japan’s global reputation as a progressive and organized nation.

He criticized Jannat for misunderstanding and disrespecting a culture that sets an example for others.
