Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan has said that the quality of his son’s marriage makes it difficult for him to settle down.
According to Indian media reports, Salim Khan revealed in a recent interview that Salman looks for qualities in a life partner that are similar to his mother’s which are not easy to find.
This is one of the questions why the 59-year-old actor remains unmarried.
Salman Khan has been romantically linked to several Bollywood actresses in the past including Katrina Kaif, Sangeeta Bajlani, Soumi Ali and Aishwarya Rai. However, none of these relationships resulted in marriage.
Salman Khan shares a close relationship with his mother and idolizes her. As a result, he looks for similar attributes in his future spouse.
Saleem Khan explained that Salman wanted a life partner who prioritized homemaking and family responsibilities over career, a quality that many career-oriented women find unrealistic.
Salim Khan also pointed out in a past interview that it is unreasonable to expect working actresses to completely abandon their careers and focus only on traditional domestic roles such as raising children, Helping them with their homework, or preparing their meals.
He concludes by saying that such expectations are at odds with modern realities and make it difficult for Salman to find a partner who matches his ideals.
