The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the domestic cricket schedule for 2025, which includes 3 first-class tournaments throughout the year, one ODI, three T20Is, and one non-first-class three-day tournament. is
PCB spokesperson Aamir Mir, Director Youth Development Azhar Ali and Director of Domestic Cricket Abdullah Khurram Niazi announced in a press conference held at National Cricket Academy Lahore that there will be 21 domestic, age group and pathway tournaments in 2025. Of which more players are involved. 10,000 matches are scheduled across the country.
PCB officials said that according to Chairman Mohsin Naqvi’s vision, age group events will be organized to provide opportunities for young cricketers to participate.
After club, district and regional level events, the best U-19 men’s cricketers will be brought together under the guidance of 5 mentors for the inaugural 5-team Champions U-19 Cup and Trophy in October and November.
In this regard, Chairman PCB’s advisor Aamir Mir has said that a plan has been prepared to improve cricket, the aim is to bring out more talent.
