Fast bowler Ehsanullah has announced his retirement from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) after being overlooked in the HBL PSL 10 draft.
Frustrated by the lack of recognition from the franchises, the 22-year-old player announced that he would no longer participate in the league.
Ehsanullah said that despite my performance, no franchise contacted me.
“If you deliver on the field, they should arrive. But they didn’t.” Known for his speed, he was determined to silence critics who doubted his abilities after the injury.

His decision also followed remarks from Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen, who questioned Ehsanullah’s ability to regain top form after undergoing elbow surgery.
Tareen had expressed doubts about his recovery citing injuries from a previous surgery.
“His arm will never be perfectly straight, and he won’t bowl like that,” commented Tareen.
Ehsanullah criticized the lack of support from the cricket world, calling it “selfish”.
He expressed his disappointment at Multan Sultans not supporting him despite his contribution last season, where he PS Picked up 22 wickets in 12 matches during L8.
Now focusing on domestic cricket, Ehsanullah aims to represent Pakistan without relying on franchise opportunities.
