Pakistani cricketer Saeem Ayub, who is currently undergoing treatment in London, has expressed uncertainty about his timeline for a full recovery.

Speaking to the media, Saim vowed to do his best to recover, adding that the medical team was also working diligently to help him. “I’m not sure when I’ll be fully fit again,” he admitted.

Responding to questions about the high expectations after his impressive performance, including two centuries, Sime emphasized the collective nature of cricket. “No individual player is more important than the team. It is a group effort that ensures victory,” he said.

The cricketer also appealed to his fans and the nation to keep him in their prayers for a speedy recovery.

Sime injured his ankle during the Cape Town Test match against South Africa, with initial reports suggesting a fracture. He is now focusing on his recovery under special care in London.

Pakistan opening batsman Saeem Ayub provided an update on his recovery following a medical in London.

The young cricketer was seen by renowned specialist Dr David Redfern at the central London clinic, where he completed his second assessment on Thursday.

After the check-up, Saim was discharged and told about his progress.

“The doctors have confirmed that my ankle is on the mend, and I am now able to put weight on it,” Sime said.

He also informed that his medical reports will be reviewed by PCB’s medical panel to decide the next steps for his recovery.

Assistant coach Azhar Mehmood expressed optimism about Saeem’s recovery, saying, “We are grateful for the positive progress. The medical panel will soon determine whether surgery is necessary.”

Sime suffered an injury during the Cape Town Test against South Africa. Following the recommendations of Chairman PCB, he was sent to London for advanced treatment to ensure a speedy recovery.
