Noted writer Nasir Adeeb responds to Bushra Ansari’s remarks regarding the controversy surrounding her comments about Reema Khan.
Nasir Adeeb, the famous writer of Punjabi films of the 90s, has earlier been in the headlines for his sarcastic comments on Reema Khan.
Recently, Nasir revealed some shocking facts about Reema’s life in an interview. During his discussion on the golden age of Lollywood, Adeeb claimed that director Younis Malik once rejected Reema after visiting the red light district, commonly known as Hiramandi.
These remarks drew heavy criticism and several actors including Bushra Ansari and Fahad Mustafa condemned such comments by the senior personality.
In a recent interview, Nasir Adeeb finally addressed and responded to the criticism. Talking about Bushra Ansari, he said that Bushra is a legendary personality of Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
In this interview, Nasir praised him highlighting his immense talent and resilience.

However, she was not comfortable with the environment of the film industry at the time and turned down roles offered to her in the past. “I still have several characters in mind, hopefully she will bring them to life one day”, expressed Nasir.
He also addressed Bushra’s criticism after the Reema Khan controversy. “Although Bushra was harsh in her comments, I have a lot of respect for her,” he said.
