Kate Middleton, who completed her chemotherapy treatment in September, is now focusing on staying cancer-free.
The Princess of Wales shocked the world in March last year when she announced she was battling an unspecified form of cancer. After undergoing preventive chemotherapy, Kate revealed that her cancer was in remission until 2025.
Princess Catherine fans are curious if the cold cap therapy actually played a role in saving her hair.
According to the American Cancer Society, cold cap therapy is a type of treatment “that can reduce hair loss caused by chemotherapy.”
“They work by attaching a special cap to an automatic device that circulates a liquid or gel cooled to a certain temperature,” the organization says.
“Automatic cold caps are only approved for chemo-induced hair loss related to solid tumor cancers, not blood cancers.”
While visiting a London hospital in January 2025, Kate spoke to a patient named Catherine Field, who said they discussed cold keeping, a treatment she was currently undergoing.
