Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari on Tuesday met Ambassador of Argentina to Pakistan Sebastian Seuss to discuss strengthening of bilateral relations and initiation of cultural activities.
During the meeting, Uzma Bukhari emphasized that Punjab and Argentina can come closer through cultural cooperation.
He remarked that the culture of Punjab is uniquely recognized all over the world and this culture as a domain transcends borders. Uzma Bukhari added that the two countries have the ability to work together in various fields, especially cultural exchange.
Sebastian Seuss, noting its global fame, praised the rich culture and traditional cuisine of Punjab. Both sides also agreed to further strengthen relations between Punjab and Argentina.
Information Secretary Punjab Syed Tahir Raza Hamdani, Parliamentary Secretary Shazia Ahmed and Al Hamra Arts Council Chairman Razi Ahmed participated in the meeting.
