The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that the Indian team will comply with International Cricket Council (ICC) regulations for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025, including including Pakistan’s name on the jerseys. is also included.

Reports had suggested that India may avoid including the name of the host nation on their kits, but the BCCI has dismissed such claims, ensuring full compliance with ICC standards.

In an interview reported by Cricbuzz, Sekiya emphasized that the team will also adopt the official ICC logo, which includes Pakistan’s name, as part of their playing and training kits.

He added that as per ICC rules and regulations, all participating teams have to get their uniforms approved before the tournament.

This protocol is consistent with previous practices, such as the 2017 Champions Trophy, where England and Wales were featured as hosts on all team jerseys, and the 2023 World Cup, where Pakistani players played for India without objection. Revealed the name.
