Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the program on Friday, which is a historic step in the province’s transportation industry.

The Electric Bus Pilot Project began 21 km away from the railway station in Lahore to Green Town.

Authorities also implemented a special training program for 70 drivers to ensure the efficient work of the fleet.
These trained drivers will be responsible for the quality of service and the safety of passengers.
Moreover, officials said the electric bus service would be ready by mid -February.
