Legal action and FIA investigation
Referring to the complaint with Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Rehman took a legal route instead of resolving the matter on social media. He emphasized that those who manipulate digital content for entertainment fail to understand its real life results.
“People think that making fake videos, but they do not think how it destroys lives,” he said.
The FIA Cyber Crime Wing launched an investigation, which resulted in the arrest of Abdul Aziz from Gujranwala, who allegedly created and shared a video. During the interrogation, Aziz claimed that he had made the video as a lame. Authorities still have to release more details.
