Actor Sajid Hassan's son received remand in terms of 50 meters drugs

KARACHI: A judicial magistrate on Monday gave a one -day physical remand to actor Sajid Hassan’s son Saheer Hassan in a drug related to the murder of Mustafa Amir.

Sahar was presented to the magistrate at the Central Jail Judicial Complex, where police requested a five -day remand to further investigate his alleged involvement in drug trafficking. However, the court approved only a one -day remand, which directed the police to provide additional evidence in the ongoing investigation.

According to investigators, Sehir has been supplying drugs in the rich areas of Karachi for the past two years. Police have claimed that it has recovered a drug worth Rs 50 million from his possession. Officials alleged that they received drugs from suppliers identified as Basel and Yahya before dividing.

Authorities are also examining the possible relationship with the murder of Mustafa Amir. Initial investigations showed that Mustafa Amir and his suspected killer, both were among the clients of Saheer. Police sources have revealed that on January 2, Mustafa Amir allegedly obtained drugs from Saheer, while Irmgan and another suspect, Shiraz, later purchased an additional supply of Rs 350,000.

The investigation also revealed details of the International Drug Smuggling Network. According to the Special Investigation Unit (SIU), Sahar revealed that the drugs had started in Colombia and was smuggled into Pakistan via California. The delivery allegedly arrived in Islamabad and Lahore through courier services, with two brothers operating through the Dark Web. One of his relatives was allegedly responsible for the final division in Karachi.

The case is under investigation, and the police are expected to produce more results at the next hearing.
