Asad Siddiqui Calls Out Actors & Industry’s Hypocrisy

Asad Siddiqui is part of a big showbiz family. His wife Zara Noor Abbas links him to the clan of Bushra Ansari and Asma Abbas, while his own uncle Adnan Siddiqui is one of the country’s biggest stars. Zara herself is an established star while Asad Siddiqui is also a self-made star.

Asad Siddiqui was a guest on Ishna Shah’s show and he made some revelations about the industry and actors working in Pakistan. He said that the actors here do not speak the truth. They will love you and praise you to your face and curse you behind your back. So, he never hangs out with the stars anymore.

He also called out the industry for wrong casting. Asad Siddiqui said that we cast people here who are white or who are friends of someone. Sometimes there is no merit and then it appears on the screens when the project is on air. He wants to prepare himself to improve the situation in the future as well and is not against introducing auditions in the industry to improve the casting process.
