Ayesha Jahanzeb is an anchor who has just gone through a huge trial in her personal life. She was just on the brink of domestic violence from her husband, from whom she is now divorcing. Along with what happened, she had to go through a lot of media scrutiny and bravely moved on with her life.
She sat down for a podcast and talked about gender discrimination, lack of opportunities for women and hypocrisy in society. Ayesha Jahanzeb also talked about how plays have been propagating that violence and tolerating it is normal and many times okay. We are showing how a girl goes for her sister’s husband so easily and things like that are increasing the acceptance of violence in our society.
