Irish boxer John Koni died a week after suffering from a mental injury in a super -feeder weight championship.
According to the report, the 28 -year -old fighter was seriously injured after a match against Nathan Hole from Wales in Ulster Hall last week, after which he was taken to an intensive care unit for medical treatment.
The report states that John Koni is fighting the first defense of his celtic super feeder weight title, but the match was later stopped in the ninth round.
After the medical report surfaced, fighter Koni was diagnosed with an intracranial hemorrhage (brain hemorrhage).
The report added that John Koni spent a week fighting for his life in the hospital, but he could not survive.
Koni made his name in November 2023 against Liam Genor winning the Celtic Super Federweight title, then he recovered most of the 2024 with a hand injury and then lost his life in 2025.
