Buckingham Palace has confirmed that King Charles has sent a personal message to President-elect Donald Trump.

According to Hello! Magazinethe King warmly congratulated him on his second term as President of the United States.

The monarch is said to have taken this important step to strengthen ties between Britain and the US, particularly amid the ongoing legal drama involving her son Prince Harry.

For the uninitiated, the Duke of Sussex could be in trouble during the Trump administration because of his US immigration papers.

Earlier, the director of a conservative think tank warned Harry about his future in America following his and Meghan Markle’s angry statement about the social media giant’s latest policies.

The Daily Beast reported that Neil Gardner claimed that the Montecito couple’s decision could lead to “deportation” if authorities found the Duke’s US immigration papers false.

Not only that, Harry’s estranged brother Prince William met with Trump in Paris last year, apparently creating new tensions for the Duke over the royal family’s growing ties to the United States.
