– Indian authorities have officially closed the investigation into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, and concluded that no abusive game was involved.
India’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) submitted reports of closure of two related cases – one in Mumbai court and the other in a special court in Patna. The agency said it did not find any evidence of external pressure, criminal conspiracy, or wrongdoing in the highest level, which attracted public attention around the world.
The first case was started by the late actor’s father, KK Singh, who accused Rajput’s then girlfriend Ria Chakraborty of suicide and financial mismanagement. The second Chakraborty filed a file against Rajput’s sister, who was accused of medical corruption. According to the Times of India, both Chakraborty and his family have now been cleared of any allegations by the CBI.
The final information was presented by the agency, the legal responsibility of accepting these results or requesting further inquiry is from the relevant courts. The move brings about a five -year long investigation closer to a formal closure.
The investigation included a complete forensic audit, interviewed with prominent people in Rajput’s life, and a deep analysis of the scene where the actor was found. The end of the CBI is compatible with the previous results, including a forensic report and post -mortem report from the Mumbai Cooper Hospital, which attributed the death cause of the death and rejected the signs of straw or poison pollution.
The legal representative of Chakraborty, Satish Manseeda, welcomed the development, and thanked the CBI for his thorough investigation. He emphasized that every angle has been checked and the closure brings the end of the long wait.
Rajput was discovered in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020, which mobilized speculation, social media campaigns and a wave of political interest. Despite the ongoing public views and disputes, investigators have now confirmed that there is no evidence that they should suggest an ugly game.
