Chicken Prices Drop in Lahore, Punjab Check Latest Rates Here
Lahore: Due to the decrease in inflation, the prices of chicken in other cities of Punjab including Lahore decreased for the third day in a row.
The price of chicken meat decreased by 26 rupees in three days, while on Thursday it decreased by 12 rupees, the new price of which was fixed at 490 rupees per kg.
Similarly, the price of live chicken decreased by Rs 8 to Rs 325 per kg in the wholesale market and Rs 338 in the retail market.

These prices reflect current market rates in the poultry industry.
According to the official rates, there has been no change in the prices of eggs, while in Lahore and other cities of Punjab, the price of eggs per dozen is Rs 345.
Meanwhile, weekly inflation as measured by the Sensitive Price Index (SPI) for general consumption groups increased by 0.67 percent during the week ended November 21, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
In the above group, the SPI for the week under review was recorded at 324.11 points as against 321.94 points during the previous week.
Compared to the same week last year, the SPI of the combined consumption group saw an increase of 4.92% in the week under review.
Weekly SPI covers 51 essential commodities for base year 2015-16 = 100 for 17 urban centers and all expenditure groups.
