Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, while launching the first and largest business of its kind, said that funds of more than 84 billion rupees have been allocated for the Easy Business Finance Scheme of Punjab, and 48 billion rupees for the Easy Business Card Scheme of Punjab. He added, “Under Punjab’s Easy Business Finance Scheme, interest-free loans worth over Rs 36 billion will be provided, under which Rs 30 million potential beneficiaries will be provided with interest-free loans of Rs 1 million. “
The chief minister said that the loans under Easy Business Finance Scheme will be paid in easy monthly installments of 05 years. “Men, women, transgender community and special persons, aged between 25 to 55 years, residing in Punjab are eligible to apply for loans under the scheme,” he added. “Being an active filer, and not being a defaulter of any financial institution are the eligibility criteria,” he highlighted.
“For Easy Business Finance Scheme, online application and details can be submitted on the dedicated web portal of Easy for Business Finance, one can apply at akf.punjab.gov.pk,” Chief Minister Maryam said. “The Easy Business Card scheme will provide interest-free loans of up to Rs 10 lakh to start-ups and small businesses,” he added. “Under the Easy Business Card, the loan will be repaid in easy monthly installments over a period of 3 years,” he highlighted.
“Men, women, transgenders and special persons residing in Punjab can apply for Easy Business Card,” the Chief Minister said, adding, “Easy Business Card can be applied at akc.punjab.gov.pk. can.” “For easy business card, payment can be made to the vendor on purchase of raw materials, government fees, taxes and utility bills can be paid through the card. A dedicated toll-free number 1786 has also been activated to guide the applicants of Easy Business Finance Scheme, Maryam Nawaz was informed in the briefing. He further said that providing employment opportunities after education is also the responsibility of the government.
The Chief Minister of Punjab said that every youth of Punjab will play an active role in the improvement of the economy through Easy Business Finance Scheme. He further said that it will be possible to improve the economy by increasing exports through Easy Business Finance Scheme.

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif took notice of the incident in which a child was injured due to electric shock after a kite string hit a wire in Muzaffarpur area of Sialkot.
