Beijing: China’s top legislature, the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC), concluded its third meeting on Tuesday.
Chinese President Xi Jinping and other leaders attended the closing session of the meeting at the Great Hall in Beijing.
Li Hong Zong, handed over to the Executive Chairman of the Prasadim, presided over the meeting.
Legislators approved government work reports and work reports of the NPC Standing Committee, the Supreme People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Procostat.
He decided to amend the national people’s Congress and the local people’s Congress at various levels and passed a resolution on the 2025 project for the implementation of the 2024 project for national economic and social development and the 2025 project for national economic and social development.
He also approved a report on the implementation of the central and local budget for 2024 and the draft of the central and local budget for 2025 and approved the central budget of 2025.
Addressing the meeting, Lee said that the annual meeting has successfully completed its agenda. He said that the results of the meeting have shown significant political benefits of the people’s Congress system.
Noting that the final lap for implementing China’s 14th five-year project (2021-2025) this year has been identified, Lee urged the legislators to ensure stability, firmly on the general principle of progress so that the 14th five-year project goals and completion of 15-year-olds and 15-year-olds.
He further said that the lawmakers should work according to the philosophy of the people of development and the whole process should promote the democracy of the people.
