Beijing: Chinese Vice President Han Zheng called on Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Hang Savi Kate in Beijing on Wednesday.
He highlighted the need for both sides to strengthen cooperation to promote regional and global peace and development.
Han said that over the past one year, China Singapore relations have witnessed stable and deep growth. Saying that China’s development has benefited from reform and opening, he said that China will be committed to high -level opening and high quality development.
This year, the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Singapore is being celebrated. Han said China is ready to promote bilateral cooperation and emphasize China Singapore all -round, high quality, future -based partnerships, which Han said will help in regional and global peace and development.
Appreciating China’s development achievements, Hang said that under the current situation, all parties should be opened and cooperation and protection of multilateral mechanisms should be followed.
Hang said that Singapore is willing to continue to participate actively in China’s development process and is full of confidence in the development of bilateral relations.
