- Punjab CM has confirmed the commitment to provide education, training and rehabilitation of children suffering from autism.
Lahore: The troubles of young children are unbearable and the Punjab government will pay all the costs of their heart surgery, “under the Chief Minister’s heart surgery program, praising a unique record of more than 3,000 children’s heart surgery in just six months.
He highlighted, “Children have the first right over the government’s resources, everyone is like my own children,” he highlighted, adding that under this program, 3,162 children have done successful heart surgery and interference.
The Chief Minister said, “Children from other provinces are also taking advantage of the first and comprehensive Chief Minister’s heart surgery program.” He noted, “teams of heart surgeons of foreign children visit Punjab every month.”
CM Maryam Nawaz was briefed by the authorities concerned, “A team of British doctors recently underwent children’s heart surgery at the Faisalabad Cardiology Institute.” “Under the Chief Minister’s Children’s Heart Surgery Program, 7,436 children have been registered from all over Pakistan,” he said.
“Children from other provinces are also being provided free heart surgery under the program,” he added. He was informed, “Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will receive free heart surgery and treatment from 316 children, 51, 51, from Sindh, 11 from Balochistan, 158 from Azad Kashmir and 30 from Gilgit -Baltistan and 30 from Gilgit -Baltistan and Punjab.” He was also informed, “Under the Chief Minister’s Children’s Heart Surgery Program, the heart surgery of 2419 children has been conducted in public hospitals while 743 operations were carried out in private hospitals.”
The CM of Punjab said, “Under the Punjab government program, children are paying all the costs of heart surgery and treatment.” He noted, “Before the start of the program, hundreds of children lost their lives annually due to long -awaited lists and inadequate resources, parents were helplessly forced their children to suffer.”

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz congratulated Eid to the children suffering from autism. He confirmed his commitment to provide education, training and rehabilitation of children suffering from sovereignty.
He said, “Children with autism are not patients but special people. For the first time in Punjab, special education and special children have also been included in the ‘list of priorities’. Work is underway to introduce employment programs with rising star cards for special children.
The CM said, “Pakistan’s first government Autism School is fast approaching its final phase in Lahore, and this facility will also provide a preliminary diagnosis of autism in the first phase. The initial diagnosis of autism in children makes treatment more effective and treatable during the age of three.”
He added, “For the first time, gift packs were given to 40,000 children of Punjab on the occasion of Eid. 12 autism units have been set up in special educational centers.
“A food food program has been launched for special children at the District Special Education Centers of Excellence and digital touch screens are being installed,” he said.
Ensure fixed fares from passengers returning after Eid break
Meanwhile, Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz has directed the passengers to ensure the compensation of fixed fares from the passengers in view of their return after the Eid holidays.
He directed strict action against those receiving more fares than passengers in Lahore and other cities.
“In case of excess charging, passenger fares should be returned, and the bus staff should be fined,” he said.
He added, “Vehicle fitness should be checked, and no disqualified vehicle should be allowed to walk on the roads, which would endanger the lives of passengers.”
