Karachi Kings have nominated former Australian legend David Warner as captain in the next 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The franchise confirmed on Tuesday that the two -time winner of the World Cup in both ODIs and the T20 format will lead the Warner franchise, this is the edition of the tournament.
Warner is considered one of the most destructive openers in the shortest format of the game.
As an experienced leader, he has the background of Captain teams in the BBL and other franchise leagues.
The left -handed batsman is well equipped to guide the Karachi -based franchise.
Following this announcement, Warner increased his enthusiasm to join the team.
He commented on the social media handle: “Looking forward to seeing everyone.”
Earlier, Karachi had selected Warner in the first election of the Platinum category during the January 13 draft.
The team acknowledged the effective leadership of Sean Masood during the PSL9, which highlighted its plan and skills in handling the combination of youth and experience.
The franchise also confirmed that they would continue to play an important role within the squad.
