India vs England: The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has revealed the line-up for their inaugural T20 International against India, scheduled for Wednesday at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Under the guidance of coach Brendon McCullum, England are embarking on a new chapter in limited-overs cricket, with McCullum insisting on continuing the aggressive gameplay he is known for.
Since taking up his role in 2022, former New Zealand captain McCullum has focused on rebuilding England’s Test cricket squad.
Meanwhile, Matthew Mott was overseeing the team’s shorter formats until his resignation last year.
Mott’s departure follows England’s unsuccessful defense of both their T20 and ODI World Cup titles in 2023-24.
McCullum now has the task of reshaping England’s performance in white-ball cricket.
gave Series Includes five T20Is against India followed by three ODIs.
