Extension of interim bail of Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan in Jinnah House attack case

Lahore: The Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) extended the interim bail of Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan and other named accused in the Jinnah House attack and arson cases on October 5.

The hearing was conducted by Judge Arshad Javed of Lahore ATC where the PTI leaders faced several charges. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan appeared in the court after the interim bail period expired.

PTI leaders Ali Imtiaz and Nadeem Abbas Bara also appeared, while PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja submitted a plea for exemption from attendance, which was granted by the court.

The court directed the investigating officer to complete the inquiry and submit the report at the next hearing. The hearing was adjourned till February 15, extending the interim bails.

It is worth noting that the accused are facing charges in the cases registered in Islampura, Lari Adda and Mastigate police stations.
