Faiz festival set to begin today in Alhamra Arts Centre in Lahore

A three -day Faiz Festival will start today at the Alhamra Arts Center in Lahore.

It is scheduled for February 14 to 16, this will be the ninth edition of the most awaiting literary event.

The festival will begin with an art exhibition called “You Your Karni Car Gozro” in which a tone of emotional discovery and intellectual development will be launched.

Under the Faiz Gar Foundation, the three -day event offers a variety of experiences from poetry to music, literature and performing arts.
Its purpose is to celebrate Faiz Ahmed Faiz’s technical heritage.

One of the most attractive sessions of the festival will be a meeting of Phase Ahmed Faiz poetry, in which literary reservoirs like Zahra Nahir, Eftel Arif will be presented, while Dr. Saif Mehmood will moderate in the session.

Faiz Ahmad Faiz gave a voice to the voice and his poetry is a means of hope.

According to the organizers, “the revolutionary spirit of one of the most valuable voices of Urdu literature resonates in the historical streets of Lahore.”

Appreciation of cultural diversity will promote the spirit of unity and harmony.

The event will have more than 50 interactive sessions. Participants will enjoy theater performances, poetry, literary discussions, book launches, musical shows and diverse cultural workshops.

Faiz Ahmed Faiz; A legendary poet

Faiz Ahmad Faiz was a legendary poet and was known for his political poetry.

During the early days of poetry, his poetry was more about the traditional forces of love, but later he also included the topics of resistance and politics.

He talked about the mutual relations of humanity and the voice of justice was loud.

Faiz gave a revolutionary direction in which not only did we talk about our differences, but also to unite us, encourage us to act, and we had the ability to improve us with new possibilities.

The Faiz Ghar Foundation started the festival 9 years ago to celebrate its partnership in Urdu literature. Since then, this happens every year in February.
