Four martyrs of the Jaffar Express attack brought Islamabad for final rituals

Islamabad: On March 11, the essence of four people killed in a terrorist attack on Jaffar Express in Bolan, Balochistan, arrived in Islamabad on Friday.

Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Mohammad Yousuf received a coffin at Islamabad Airport with the relatives and acquaintances of the deceased. The bodies were identified as Mohammad Mumtaz from Mansehra, Nozay Ali from Gilgit District of Gilgit -Baltistan, Muhammad Usman from Atak, and Osman from Sialkot. Mohammad Mumtaz was an employee of Pakistan Railway.

Talking to the media at the airport, Sardar Mohammad Yousuf expressed his deep sympathy with the family and assured the government’s support during the grief. “The government and the entire nation stand with the families of the martyrs,” he said.

After a brief ceremony at the airport, the bodies were sent to their native areas, where funeral prayers were fixed at the end of the day.
