Gwadar’s 34 students receive Chinese ambassador scholarship

ISLAMABAD: 34 students of Gwadar University (UG) received Chinese Ambassador Special Scholarship Balochistan (CASSB) Phase II in promoting higher education in Balochistan, Pakistan.

The move, which is part of China’s ongoing support for education in Pakistan, aims to reduce financial obstacles and promote educational virtues among Pakistani youth.

The awards were presented during a ceremony organized by the UG’s Financial Aid and Scholarship Office at the seminar hall of the University.

In addition to the Chinese Ambassador Scholarship, 55 female students were awarded a scholarship by the Sohail Welfare Association in partnership with the Pakistan Navy, covering their four -year tuition.
