London Mayor Sadiq Khan celebrated the tournament final between the host Nation and England. Since cricket fans around the world are ready for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan.
Sadiq Khan wished to see Pakistan and England playing against each other in the Champions Trophy final.
The extreme hypid tournament will start with Pakistan facing Pakistan at the opener in Karachi on February 19. There will also be a small opening ceremony that features Pakistani celebrities.
The program will be the first international cricket event in Pakistan in the last 30 years. The last time Pakistan hosted the ICC One Day Cup in 1996 when Benazir Bhutto was a martyr.
Sadiq, who is the mayor of London, is a Pakistani origin. Last year, he was re -elected as Mayor London for the third consecutive time.
Sadiq Khan said that he follows only one principle and thus I never lose.
“I have a rule: I always support the winner and do not lose it. I hope this is a great Champions Trophy, “he spoke to the reporter.
However, every match will be interesting that will be as always between Pakistan and India. The Arc Rawal will face each other in Dubai on February 23.
His deep views about cricket show that he regularly follows cricket and is a dedicated fan.
He also wished to return in the form of Pakistan’s star batter, Babar.
“Pakistan’s team has not been tremendous recently. He added that I hope that Babar will be rescheduled.
“Hopefully this is a great tournament and a safe tournament. I look forward to seeing the crowd back to the stadium.
The Labor Party leader also said that the selectors of England and Pakistan can call them if they want. “Look, if you are a selector of Pakistan or England, I’m available. I am free, I can take time and play,” he said, showing his love cricket.
Pakistan is ready to host this wonderful tournament. He recently renovated his two stadiums in Lahore and Karachi in a very short time for the program.
