Islamabad Weather Update: Temperatures are likely to drop in the capital.
ISLAMABAD: Citizens of the federal capital saw bright sunlight in the morning after which the weather in the city became pleasant. However, the temperature in the federal capital is likely to drop again during the night hours.
The maximum temperature recorded today is 24 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature is expected to be 12 degrees Celsius in the evening.
The humidity level in the federal capital is between 70 to 71 percent and a light wind is blowing from the north-west direction at a speed of 14 km per hour. While today the probability of rain is up to 18%.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in most parts of the country. However, it will remain cloudy in the evening/night over Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir, besides rain at few places in Islamabad and light snowfall over high mountains. Most of the areas of Punjab are covered by smog, while some plains are likely to experience moderate to heavy fog during the night.
