Jerusalem: Israel has extended its military operations in Gaza, with the announcement that large parts of the enclave will be caught and will be included in the security zone, which will indicate a massive evacuation.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that an area known as Morag Axis between Rafah and Khan Younis in southern Gaza will be the focal point of the latest military action.
The Morg axis is once the home of Israeli settlement, now Israel has seen as an important point in the strategy of controlling the southern Gaza regions. Netanyahu emphasized that the purpose of this operation is to increase pressure on Hamas, and will continue with the main purpose of receiving the hostages.
He noted that the military’s actions would eliminate the relationship between Rafah and Khan Younis, and would establish more control over key passages, including “Philadelphi Transit”, which is connected to Egypt.
The Israeli military has reported significant progress in the region, including the siege of the Televisional Lalistin area near Rafah, where dozens of militants were killed. The army also discovered a rocket and a launcher with Israel aimed at.
Despite these actions, there is no indication that Israel plans to stop its aggression. The head of the Israeli army, Lieutenant General Ayil Zamir, made it clear that the operation would continue “deliberately and determined until the hostages are liberated. Defense Minister Israel Katz also confirmed the operation to clear the militant infrastructure and occupy additional areas.”
Meanwhile, the situation on the ground in Gaza is serious. Israeli airstrikes on Wednesday killed more than 60 people, killing 19 people, especially children, who were killed in a strike on the UN clinic residence. According to Israel, the clinic was used by Hamas as a command center, though Hamas denied the claims, and the allegations were false.
The ongoing violence has weakened the citizens and weakened rapidly. UN Jonathan Vatal described the current situation as destructive, when Gaza is 64 % of Gaza under forced migration orders or under Israel’s “buffer zone”. The humanitarian crisis is increasing, there is no safe zone for Gaza’s residents.
