Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Ni (M), General Syed Asim Munir addressed a gathering of young university and college students, representing the youth of Pakistan.
During his conversation, COAS encouraged the students to strive for their educational pursuit and develop skills that could play a positive role in the country’s progress. He also exchanged views on the impact of the external environment on Pakistan, especially the threat from cross -border terrorism.
The Army Chief praised the youth for their energy, creativity and their ability to innovate, saying that they are the future leaders of Pakistan.
Coas highlighted the role of the Pakistan Army in protecting the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He honored the sacrifices of the people of Pakistan in the struggle of the nation against the threat of terrorism, and appreciated their resolve for the armed forces and the lace.
Emphasizing the need to strengthen ‘Pakistanism’, Coas highlighted the importance of Pakistan’s history, culture and values in the intellectual development of our youth.
