The Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA) alleged that the Minister for Petroleum Mossadak Malik was leading the petroleum industry towards destruction.

Speaking at a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, Chairman PPDA Abdul Ma’am Khan said on Saturday that the federal government has been canceling the petroleum industry for the past three years.

However, the government assured the association that the matter would be consulted.

The association said that if such irregularities were left, they would be compared to closing pumps across the country.

Chairman Sami Khan argued that such irregularities have increased the smuggling of gasoline, which has also destroyed and damaged the engines of the vehicle due to destructive fuel.

He criticized the government and argued that market conditions in Europe and the United States are different.

The chairman emphasized about the smuggling, saying that PPDA would help police and Rangers fight smuggling.
