Islamabad: The husband of the well -known model, Nadia Hussain and former CEO of Bank Al -Fala Securities, have been arrested on charges of embezzling Rs 540 million.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) confirmed his arrest after the company’s board of directors complained of their arrest.

According to investigators, Model Nadia Hussain Husband Atif Khan allegedly misused Rs 80 million of the company’s funds for personal trade and illegally received Rs 654 million by a third party, and paid it with high interest payments using corporate funds.

The FIA ​​also accused former Chief Financial Officer Faisal Sheikh and another person, Imtiaz Ahmed of facilitating the fraud. Further investigation is underway, officials said.
