Asma Abbas is a senior Pakistani television actor and former host. He is known for his extraordinary acting in dramas like Dampakht, GT Road, Akbari Asghari, Khumar, Daldal, Ranjha Ranjha Kurdi, Chipke Chipke, Chaudhary and Sons, Rad and Man Jogi. The actor recently found recognition in ARY Digital’s drama serial Baby Baaji Ki Bahween. The actor is currently in the headlines for his son Ahmed Abbas Gul’s wedding which was held in Lahore. Many distinguished guests attended the wedding.
Asma Abbas also invited famous singer Ahmed Jahanzeb to her son’s wedding, who accepted her invitation. In his recent blog, he talked about Ahmad Jahanzeb’s heart-wrenching gesture for his youngest son Ahmad Abbas Gul.
Talking about Ahmed Jahanzeb, Asma Abbas said that I had planned a big surprise for my son. You all know that my son loves to sing and Ahmed Jahanzeb is his inspiration, so he couldn’t imagine that I would invite Ahmed Jahanzeb to his wedding because he obviously loves to perform in functions. They charge a lot of money. I told Ahmad Jahanzeb about my son’s marriage. Ahmed was very happy to hear the news of my son’s marriage and promised me to attend the wedding, which surprised me. I promised him a ticket and accommodation which he refused.
He added, “He came and waited in the car as it was raining and the music setup was messed up. We shifted the setup indoors and then Ahmed Jahanzeb came. My son was shocked to see him. Gaya, and then Ahmad sang Noor Jahan, it was a very special moment for all of us.
